As of last summer (2011), plans for the new shop were put on hold indefinitely after our commercial liability insurance premiums increased substantially, forcing us to give up the insurance coverage and shut down our service & repair business. As of now (April 22, 2012) we are concentrating our efforts on our mail order businesses and looking for affordable, commercial farm insurance so we can take our family farm commercial. Our power sports business and plans for a new shop are still alive – simply in a state of dormancy until we can work out a viable and affordable commercial liability insurance plan that better fits the size of our business (and wallet).
Drawings for the new shop have been developed. Site work (land clearing and ground-breaking) began the end of last November. Land clearing (cutting trees and clearing brush) has progressed slowly over the Winter and continues as time and weather conditions allow. This is where you will find updates and progress photos as work continues. The new shop drawings are posted here, and building site photos will appear here as they are available. If you have any comments or suggestions, please drop me an email (contact page).
