Logo T-Shirts

We haven’t had any shirts made up for inventory just yet. For those of you that can’t wait to get a shirt with our Downeast Thunder logo, Cafe Press prints and ships our logo T-shirts as they are ordered. The logo appears with “Milbridge, Maine” printed on the shirt as well. If you’re anything like me, you’ll need to stock up and order a few of them. Cafe Press also makes handy totes with our logo on them. Just click on the following hyperlink and Cafe Press will take care of the rest: http://www.cafepress.com/DowneastThunder
A fellow Marine and old biker friend of mine pointed out that I should let you know the brand of the t-shirts, costs and so forth. Cafe Press states that the t-shirts are pre-shrunk, 100% cotton but that’s about it. I contacted Cafe Press and asked them for more info and this is their response:
Dear Paul, We currently carry many different brands of shirts for the apparel items. The Haynes brand is one of them and others such as Gildan, American Apparel, Anvil, and etc. Some of the shirts are brand specific and will note this in the product information when adding products to shopping cart. If there is no information listed about a brand for the shirt, we are unable to guarantee a certain brand will be used for the shirt.

I ordered a few shirts for myself and they appear to be of reasonably decent quality. The ones I received are made by Gildan and the tag states “heavy cotton” but I would classify it as a light to medium weight cotton when compared to Haynes Beefy Tees. The t-shirts from Cafe Press sell for $21.99 each and I think they charge a bit more for the XXL and larger sizes. They are a bit pricey for my wallet but it’s a temporary measure to allow access to shirts with the Downeast Thunder logo on them for now. – Paul B.
