New Machines for Sale
Typically, new motorcycles that are sold by Downeast Thunder Power Sports are custom built machines that have been commissioned by customers. If time permits, a new machine may be built for sale to the public based on speculation, in which case it will be listed here along with a photo and details. Usually, such motorcycles will be based on an S&S V-twin engine and frame.
Used Machines for Sale
This is where you will find used motorcycles, atv’s, snowmobiles, and other equipment that are for sale. Machines sold by Downeast Thunder Powersports will carry a warranty which will vary in coverage depending on year and type of machine. Other machines that are posted for Downeast Thunder Powersports customers are private sales, directly through the individual offering the sale and is sold “as is, where is.”

Scooter/Mopeds – I received the following email from a local merchant hoping to sell a few scooters that he planned on selling through his business until he discovered what the insurance premiums were an licensing requirements. Too late – he had already purchased the machines. He is now selling them personally. If you are interested, contact him directly for more info & particulars. Message: Mr. Bennett, We are opening a new furniture business in Cherryfield and thought we might also sell some bikes. We have purchased four new mopeds.
