DIY Portable Vendor Display (Free Plans)

DIY Portable Vendor Display

This portable vendor display rack was made from scraps I had left over from other projects. The only purchase I made for this build was a few ¾” diameter, wood dowels.

This is a handy tool or fixture for artisans, makers, and other vendors, when selling at craft fairs, and other such venues. This display fixture can be built quickly, inexpensively, and it’s very light in weight. It’s also portable; folding up for easy and convenient storage. Brick & mortar stores will also find this display unit quite handy in several marketing displays.

Portable Vendor Display Drawing

You’ll find the drawing only contains the details for the hinge system I used. This is because the display rack is so simple and easily “customizable” to suit your specific needs. You can see how it went together by watching the video, and the dimensions are completely up to you. You can make this unit taller, shorter, longer, wider, narrower, increase or decrease the number of shelves, change the shelf spacing, and so forth.

If you do decide to make one of these, plan on spending 2 to 3 hours of time for construction. OF course, it will take more time if you have to travel and buy materials, plus extra time for finishing should you decide to paint or varnish it.
