Ayuh! A powerful Nor’easter hit us hard last week with recorded wind gusts in excess of 72 knots (hurricane force). The brand-new tarp covering my recently purchased Olympic Dolphin 23 sloop filled with wind and dragged the pedestal off it’s (what I thought was secure) position and toppled the mast (acting as a ridge pole for the tarp). I feared it had been bent or damaged some other way.
In this video, I review the damage and then take you on a quick tour of the boat’s interior as I had the tarp off and I didn’t show the inside of the boat when I first bought it.
