In Part 3 of this series, I finish grinding and sanding the trim wood around the outer edges of the ballast keel molds and fill any imperfections and screw holes with putty. I then coat the outer ballast keel wood surfaces with epoxy resin, then lay out fiberglass cloth and apply more epoxy.

The trim was added so I can round over the edges for better flow around the ballast keels with less turbulence through the water and to allow easier application of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. Hopefully, there will be a break in the weather to allow that part of the build to go forward.
