The latest addition to the Shoestring Shipyard Fleet! This is a Mirage 5.5 sailboat, designed to IOR racing rules, built in Florida. It is 20 feet in length and has a swing keel. This was posted on the Facebook Marketplace late Monday afternoon (8/16/3032) for free (with the trailer it is sitting on) so I contacted the owner and drove 7 hours one way to Massachusetts (Tuesday, 8/17/2021) and picked it up. Got home with it that night around 10:30pm after starting the day at 6:15am when I rolled out of my driveway. Long day of driving, but worth it! The price was right!
