This is the first project with my old wood lathe since overhauling the lathe and replacing the bearings.
In an earlier video, I turned a couple of pieces of hardwood scraps and made a wood mallet like the one I made for myself almost 5 years ago. I used the same materials and made the new mallet the same size as the old one.
I’ve decided one of my viewers should take ownership of this new wood mallet and the only question remaining is whom shall it be? You can help me decide the answer to the question after you have watched the video. The final decision will be made after the Downeast Thunder Creations YT channel surpasses 4000 subscribers.
