We have an extremely short warm/growing season here in Downeast Maine, so anything that grows must make the best of it and not waste any time. With a little rain, a virtual jungle appears seemingly overnight! That is exactly what happened here at Downeast Thunder Creations (Downeast Thunder Farm) and Shoestring Shipyard.
We go through weed whackers quite often by simply wearing them out with heavy use. We stopped buying the expensive ones because they didn’t last any longer than the cheaper ones.
Here’s our latest weed whacker. It’s a Ryobi that runs on the 18+ One series Ryobi batteries which I already have and was fairly cheap at around fifty bucks (tool only).
